A Happy Rhyme

That one time tried to write a happy rhyme, full of joy and light and glitter, sugared through the sour and the bitter, invert the curt and stall the time,


pushing back the shadows made long, butterflies avoiding cobweb-traps, house-trained dogs and dreamy naps, all day long the early bird's song,


children's laughter, excited squeals,

and smiling, happy visages abound, except that all the other stuff just will not go to ground, what forever but also fleeting feels,


and a happy soliloquy is not the full story SP
