I often obsess about questions that there are no easy answers to Like finding the satisfying response when confronted with ‘who are you?’ Not find a reference and a way to explain That legitimises wanton ignorance and seeks the status quo to maintain Uses parameters that exists to conform Different thinking to a culpable, prescribed norm Demands a solution that meets the mean requirement When the mean, means mean and to the general detriment And seeks to affirm the sanctity of this lurid manifestation Playing out as if a cursed communal condition. The answer in the question rings a one-sided true When the benefits you’ve known, others weren’t privileged to That advantage not somehow in your approach reflect But with adamancy the continuation of such expect And the enquiry about identity Seeks to distract with self-satisfied, scandalised impropriety Convinced, not only by a righteousness strong But also a secure knowing that no ways are you wrong SP
