I miss a beautiful soul known as Elsie With whom I oft had shared truths at tea She wasn't what you'd call a Kreepy Karen Injustice is what would make her the Helen The day the public found to point and snicker She came and displayed her loyalty sticker And when her friendship tested she would cry : I know the people that I love and why She inspires me still to this very day How she would turn to me and say What good is hating the dark and the doom When your art can light up a room Life is a day-by-day my friend And love, sweet love, wins in the end SP
