Cape Town, as lovely a place as can be Look carefully, you only see beauty The people compassionate, caring, kind Not the ones who are not, but we pay them no mind The folk are well-off, the larder stacked The library with dictionary and encyclopedia packed The place so good they plan to break-away Though I suppose they will want the army on the Cape Flats to stay And as for the issue of GBV Well, for now the DA's prioritizing farm murders, you see Proved to the EFF who is boss And for children's feelings gave not a toss Money is tight Unemployment a plight Service-delivery a farce - These all matters of class The narrative hidden for all to see Between treatment of citizens there is a huge discrepancy It's good here, I'm not the one to convince Hey - we mos live in the best-run province SP
