I saw Lizzie today

After a time apart The missing buried deep in the heart

The memory of feeling this way Pictures without words pray

Of moments caught in art And witnessing the start

Of making work of play And would we meet only to say

Should I be, I'll be a soli'd sixty Lizzy an impressive seventy

And (did I know?) we share a birthday We who held the tray or had to pay

Did our best, lived the part

Fetched but ne'er released the dart

Now the target, now the prey
