Why is it people so often assume
Itself the question, but let me resume
That your mistake, your fault, say, how you err
(Interpreted by their bias, for biases we share)
Is born out of a lack of consideration
For either fire, or fuel in a conflagration
Motives and agendas suspect
When it doesn’t their ideology reflect
As if there is only one world-order
That sets parameters from border to border
While climbing down throats might be fun
It deflects and detracts from the work to be done
With a new dawn rising, let light fall where it will
Past the rhythm of reap and sow, a need also to till
